Red Deer Rampage lose third straight game

The Red Deer Rampage Jr. B Tier I lacrosse team battled with the Okotoks Marauders on Saturday night in Rocky Mountain Lacrosse League action at the Dawe Centre.

After starting the Rocky Mountain Lacrosse League (RMLL) Jr. B Tier I season 2-0, the Red Deer Rampage have lost three straight games.

The Rampage fell to the Mountainview Mavericks 8-4 in Innisfail on Friday night but most recently, were edged 13-7 by the Okotoks Marauders on Saturday evening at the Dawe Community Centre in Red Deer.

The Rampage led 5-4 in the second period, but a fury of goals, including five straight from the Marauders, led to the Rampage's demise at home.

Marauders' Lucas Harlow and Jacob Harlow led the way with six points each for Okotoks with Drew Dunbar right behind with five points.

For the Rampage, Traford Couchman scored two goals and three assists for five points, followed by Isaav Tisdale and Ryley Dowswell who had three points each.

Next up for the Rampage, they'll play the Regina Queen City Kings on Friday, May 24 at 9 p.m. at the Dawe Community Centre followed by a road game on Sunday, May 26 against the Edmonton Warriors at 6:30 p.m.
