Finish in sight for Centrium expansion
Two welders working on the seating expansion at the Centrium send a spray of sparks as they install structural steel beams along the roof in the arena on Tuesday.
“We are on track for completion within six weeks,” said Westerner Park CEO and General Manager John Harms.
The $5.5-million project will see the addition of 1,000 general seats and 250 suite seats added to the west end of the building.
Thirteen suites and one club suite that seats 40 is part of the expansion. The seats are scheduled to arrive by Monday said Harms and installation of seating will begin a few days later.
