Notre Dame High School students bring to the stage Aida, Elton John and Tim Rice’s pop-rock version of the classic Verdi opera.
Rehearsals began in late September for the cast of 30 and crew of 10 under director Jennifer Cocolicchio. The dozen-strong orchestra is directed by Glen Traquair.
Show dates are tonight, Friday and Saturday at 7 p.m. at the Memorial Centre, with a Saturday matinee at 1 p.m.
Tickets are $15 for students and $20 for adults plus taxes and available online at http://esnd.inviteright.com/aida.
