RDC big jazz band to perform like ‘giants’

Red Deer College’s Big Band will perform their takes on the works of the giants of jazz in their final jazz concert of the year on Friday.

The concert, at 7:30 p.m. in the RDC Arts Centre, will feature the works of Duke Ellington, Ella Fitzgerald, and Oscar Peterson, among others.

Tickets for the performance are available through the Black Knight Ticket Centre at 403-755-6626 or www.bkticketcentre.ca.

For junior high and high school students interested in music education beyond high school, free concert tickets and the opportunity to speak to RDC faculty members and music students is available.
