‘Sensational’ served up with improv and sketch comedy at Bull Skit

Some “sensational” blues, Latin, jazz and pop music will be served up, along with improv and sketch comedy, when up-and-coming Calgary singer Lauren Busheikin joins the Bull Skit crew for two shows next weekend.

The singer, billed as having a “knock the wind out of you” voice, will perform at Bull Skit shows on Friday and Saturday, March 21 and 22, at the Scott Block in downtown Red Deer.

Besides Busheikin’s musical performance, the audience will get to see some improvisational games and recurring Bull Skit characters in comedy sketches. Alice and Sarah will try to get a date, the Bar Story boys will attempt to understand their life choices, and radio DJ “92.1 The Dick” will receive big news from an anonymous caller.

New characters will also be introduced this month: Watch Allan and Steve take terms like trolling and going viral too literally.

Doors open at 7 p.m. with a cash bar. The shows start at 8 p.m.

Tickets are $23 ($18 students/seniors) from or at the door. Bull Skit contains mature language and adult themes.

The local Bull Skit troupe is also available for parties or staff development exercises. For bookings, call Jenna at 403-872-6706.
