Red Deer South MLA, Jason Stephan, was recently quoted from a debate amongst Alberta’s MLAs on ratifying the referendum results, where 62 per cent of those Albertans who voted want the removal of equalization payments from the Constitution, as saying “equalization was socialism” which he described as “the enemy of self-realization.”

Letter: Let Conservative Party women lead

Letter: Let Conservative Party women lead

The federal PC party is in shambles. Erin O’Toole is not the guy to lead the party to victory over the corrupt Trudeau Liberal party. The PC party has some very strong women. I think it is time for a woman to lead the party and get rid of the fake feminist Trudeau. Rona Ambrose comes to mind but there are many other strong PC women. Senator Denise Batters is right. A leadership review should be held ASAP.

Letter: Shrewd political strategy by Red Deer MLA

Letter: Shrewd political strategy by Red Deer MLA

Red Deer South MLA Jason Stephan recently pointed the finger at AHS for their failure to provide and sustain sufficient ICU beds for Albertans, and then proceeded to compare American hospital’s ICU capacity and the costs that AHS incur to support what we do have.
