Celebrating volunteer week

April 6 to 12 marks National Volunteer Week in Canada, and Mountain View Seniors Housing would like to sincerely thank its outstanding volunteers, who share their talents and time to make a difference in the lives of our local seniors.

Now in its 72nd year, National Volunteer Week is about inspiring and encouraging people to seek out imaginative ways to engage in their communities. It is also about recognizing the 13.3-million Canadian volunteers who already do make tremendous contributions across the country and around the globe. Volunteers make our communities resilient and our country vibrant.

If you or someone you know is interested in getting involved in the community and joining an incredible team of volunteers at Mountain View Seniors’ Housing, please contact volunteer co-ordinator Anita Lobe at 403-556-2957 ext.724 or volunteer@mvsh.ca.

Mountain View Seniors’ Housing is a non-profit organization committed to enhancing the lives of seniors in our community. We operate seniors’ lodges, seniors’ self-contained apartments and subsidized family housing, striving to provide the highest level of service and support in friendly, home-like environments.
