Fire left burning by Big Horn Dam campers

We had the privilege to be able to go camping at the Big Horn Dam this weekend.

There also was a large group a of young people having a good time and being somewhat noisy but we were OK with that.

On Sunday, they all left and we walked over to their spot just to check and see if they left a total mess.

Other than about three dozen empty pop and beer cans, it was not too bad.

However, they seemed to have totally forgotten about the Slave Lake disaster.

The fire was still going and there was nobody left.

The river was about 200 metres from their fire pit and they still did not put the fire out.

I hope that the Fish and Wildlife officers recorded some licence plates and are going to present them with a appropriate fine!
