Talking about Easter bonnets
As Margaret Roolker watches, Pat Creurer tries on an Easter bonnet at the Kozy Korner Seniors Centre in Lacombe. Roolker, who owns Tulip Cottage Products, was a guest speaker at the Lacombe Christian Women’s Club monthly meeting on Tuesday evening where club members were given instructions on how to make their own Easter bonnets. The club meets on the second Tuesday of each month and welcomes the public to attend. If interested in joining in on club activities, contact Connie at 403-885-4653 or Joyce at 403-843-0025. The topic of conversation during the April meeting will be spring yards and purses. Elayne Goertzen, a physician’s wife and avid motorcyclist from Medicine Hat, will be the guest speaker. Her topic will be What’s a Woman Without Her Purse?
