The CPR pedestrian bridge in Red Deer will be closed on Saturday from 9 a.m. until 1 a.m. Sunday morning
A fundraising event — CentreFest’s Benefit on the Bridge — will take place on the bridge.
Trails users can cross the river at Gaetz Avenue during the closure.
The Benefit on the Bridge event runs from 8 p.m. to midnight on Saturday. Tickets are $30 each at blacknightinn.ca and you must be 18 or older to attend.There will be music, dancing, food trucks and a cash bar.
This year CentreFest will be held July 29 and 30 in downtown Red Deer.
