Red Deer adjust cart collection for holidays
The City of Red Deer has adjusted its cart collection for the holidays.
The adjustment was made to accommodate the Christmas Day and New Year’s Day statutory holidays, which both fall on a Monday this year.
Residents with regular Monday collection will have their December 25 and January 1 cart collection rescheduled as follows:
Johnstone, Riverside Meadows, and Highland Green will be moved to the following Tuesday.
Oriole Park, Fairview, and the North Annexation Area will be moved to the following Wednesday.
West Park will be moved to the following Thursday.
Monday collection schedules will return to normal on Monday, January 8, 2024.
Residents with a collection day other than Monday will have their carts collected on their regular collection day over the holidays.
