Sawyer Brown, Shenandoah to play concert in Red Deer this fall

Sawyer Brown will make a stop in Red Deer during its 40th anniversary tour this fall.

The American country band will be joined by Shenandoah and special guest George Fox for a concert at Westerner Park’s Peavey Mart Centrium on Oct. 18.

Sawyer Brown received a 1994 Grammy nomination for Best Country Performance by a Duo or Group with Vocals for the song All These Years.

Shenandoah won a Grammy for Best Country Collaboration with Vocals in 1996 for the song Somewhere in the Vicinity of the Heart, which was recorded with Alison Kraus. The band also received two other nominations in 1991 and 1996.
