Thieves made off with sports equipment including an autographed Calgary Flames hockey stick during a break in at River Bend Golf Course last week.

RCMP responded to the break-in call on April 27, around 3:30 a.m. at the golf course and when police and staff arrived on scene they discovered three male suspects had broken into several sheds and the clubhouse.

The men stole a number of items including a 2006 Calgary Flames goalie stick signed by Miikka Kiprusoff, Titlesist golf clubs and putters, Bushneel rangefinders, clothing and golf bag. The suspects unsuccessfully tried to break into the ATM in the clubhouse.
