13 stolen vehicles recovered; charges laid

One man is facing charges in connection with the recovery of 13 stolen vehicles from a rural residence north of Rocky Mountain House.

Rocky Mountain House RCMP, in conjunction with Calgary and Edmonton RCMP Auto Theft Sections, executed a series of search warrants that resulted in the recovery of 13 stolen vehicles.

Rocky Mountain House RCMP Cpl. Robert Schultz said vehicles ranging from lawn tractors to large trucks were recovered during the search on Jan. 26. Along with the stolen vehicles, the RCMP also seized marijuana and psilocybin (magic mushrooms), which was believed to be for the purpose of trafficking.

Charges are pending against 46-year-old Steven Lindsay of Rocky Mountain House.
