Fire destroys house near Sylvan Lake
Firefighters from Red Deer City, Sylvan Lake, Red deer County and the County of Lacombe responded to a house fire north west of Sylvan Lake Thursday afternoon.
When Red Deer City Emergency Services platoon Chief Pat Mulroney arrived on the scene he said the fire had fully engulfed the building home located north of Highway 11A just east of Range Road 10.
