High speed chase and theft in Innisfail

Three robbery suspects in Innisfail are in the running for the title of one of the dumbest moves in Central Alberta.

Innisfail RCMP received complaints of a pickup truck speeding through the streets chasing a group of deer through the town around 1 a.m. on Sunday.

When police pulled over the vehicle, they found roughly $4,800 worth of 24-inch LED light bars from at least six vehicles.

The bars are believed to have been stolen sometime during Saturday night.

One victim has been identified. Police are looking for the other five.

A 19-year-old man and two youth were arrested. Charges are pending. The investigation is ongoing.

If you have any information about this crime or are a victim, contact the Innisfail RCMP at 403-227-3342.
