Mark Kingwell to speak as part of RDC Perspectives

Philosopher and author Mark Kingwell will share his controversial views on higher education’s value and purpose at Red Deer College on March 14.

The University of Toronto philosophy professor has written about civility and poor public behaviour, Canadian culture, the life of pianist Glenn Gould and even fly fishing.

He’ll speak as part of Perspectives: Canada in the World, the college’s public lecture series.

His presentation The Unknown Knowns: Thinking Outside The Frame begins at 7:30 p.m. on the RDC Arts Centre Mainstage.
