Another season of lights at the von Hollen's

A boy enters the magical world of Alfred and Cheryl von Hollen’s front and backyard Christmas light display in Rocky Mountain House.

The family is once again inviting Central Albertans to take in their enormous Christmas light displays that fill their front and back yards.

This year’s display includes more than 100,000 LED lights — corporate sponsors help with the power bill — and nearly 80 inflatable figures.

Perhaps the busiest night of the season comes Saturday when spectators to the town’s Parade of Lights flock to the house after. The parade begins at 7 p.m. and runs down Main Street.

The von Hollens keep the lights on from 5:30 p.m. to 9:30 p.m. nightly until Dec. 28.

The von Hollen display is located at 5725 57 Street Close
