Student injured after falling beneath school bus

LETHBRIDGE — A teen is in serious condition in hospital after being run over by a school bus she was running to catch.

Police in Lethbridge say the 16-year-old student banged on the side of the bus as it pulled away from the curb and she fell.

One of the tires of the bus rolled over her arm.

She is expected to recover from her injuries.

Police say no charges are being considered.
