Tentative deal reached to end strike at Symphony Senior Living

A tentative agreement between the Alberta Union of Provincial Employees and Symphony Senior Living at Aspen Ridge in Red Deer was reached early Friday morning.

A tentative agreement between the Alberta Union of Provincial Employees and Symphony Senior Living at Aspen Ridge in Red Deer was reached early this morning.

Staff will vote on the tentative agreement on Saturday from 10 a.m. to 4 p.m. The results of the vote will be released late Saturday afternoon, Tyler Bedford of AUPE said in a press release Friday.

Close to 130 care staff, including licensed practical nurses, health-care aides and other specialized support staff went off the job on Monday. They were locked out at the same time.
