Annual ecofair and workshops at Red Deer College

Event focuses on sustainable living

The annual Red Deer EcoLiving Fair and Workshops will be held Saturday at Red Deer College.

The event features a Repair Café, electric vehicle showcase, urban lumber mill, Seedy Saturday Seed Swap, and dozens of exhibitors providing local food, products, services, and workshops related to sustainable living.

Knowledge sharing and skill building in support of the local economy and environmental initiatives throughout the region are the focus.

The fair and workshops will be in the Cenovus Learning Common (east trades wing) from 10 a.m. to 6 p.m. Workshops will run hourly from 10 a.m. to 5:45 p.m. Tickets are $5 per workshop or $20 for an unlimited pass.

All proceeds go towards projects of ReThink Red Deer.
