Calling all bakers — Central Alberta Cupcake Day is set for Feb. 24.
The annual fundraising activity for Red Deer & District SPCA raised over $8,000 last year to care for animals at the shelter.
Participants make cupcakes or other baked goods, hold their own bake sales, and the money raised goes to the SPCA.
People can also hold bake sales on another day if they aren’t available on Feb. 24.
