Canadian Tire robber gets cash, smokes, and energy drink

A man who robbed the Canadian Tire gas bar in Red Deer on Sunday evening got away with cash, cigarettes, and an energy drink.

Red Deer RCMP are looking for public assistance to identify the suspect.

Shortly after 9 p.m., a man entered the gas bar located at 5908 50th Ave., claiming to have a gun in his pocket. After getting the goods, he fled on foot. No weapon was displayed and no one was injured in this robbery.

The suspect is described as a Caucasian man in his mid-20s wearing a red and black hoodie over a flat-brimmed ball cap, jeans, and light-coloured shoes.
