Road construction season shifts into higher gear in Red Deer with delays along Taylor Drive.
The city’s engineering department is warning drivers that minor delays will occur between 19th Street and 22 Street on Taylor Drive, as crews continue roadway upgrades in preparation for commercial developments in Southpointe Junction.
Drivers will notice occasional lane closures starting this week in the north and southbound lanes along this stretch of Taylor Drive. Crews will be adding a T-intersection to provide better access to the new commercial development. Work is expected to continue until mid-June.
