Checking a vehicle stopped at an Innisfail convenience store led to an arrest and charges stemming from a break and enter.

Innisfail RCMP on patrol Satruday noticed a suspicious vehicle parked at the Innisfail 7/11. At the time the driver of the vehicle was inside the store. Mounties determined the vehicle was stolen and confronted the male.

The male fled on foot, but was apprehended shortly after.

Officers were able to gather evidence and charge the man in connection with a break and enter to the Spruce View Co-op Gas Bar, that happened early Saturday morning.

The 24-year-old male has been charged with break and enter, possession of stolen property under $5,000 and possession of break-in instruments.
