Lacombe police investigate armed robbery

Laombe Police Service is searching for two suspects involved in an armed robbery at a Husky gas station on Saturday.

The police were called after a man went into the Husky station at 5052 Hwy 2A, brandished a knife and demanded cash and cigarettes.

After being interrupted by another customer, the suspect fled with cash and lottery tickets. He was seen seen getting into a 1995-98 gold Pontiac Sunfire driven by another man. It left north on Hwy 2A.

The suspect is described as 1.83m to 1.88m (Six-foot to six-foot-two) tall. He was wearing a flat-brimmed ball cap, dark sunglasses with a black bandanna covering his face. He was also wearing a baggy, dark-coloured sweatshirt and jeans.
