A lottery ticket thief has struck again.

Red Deer RCMP said at 8:30 p.m. on May 19 officers were called to Express 24 in Highland Green after a man stole a tray of lottery tickets then fled in a silver Pontiac Grand Am reported stolen from Aldersyde the day before.

Police believe the same man is responsible for a similar theft on Feb. 19 from the same store. He stole a tray of tickets and drove away in a Ford F350 stolen from Blackfalds, then recovered in Red Deer on Feb. 22.

The suspect is described as tall, Caucasian, approximately 40 to 50 years old, and in both instances wearing a ball cap.

Anyone with information about the investigation is asked to contact the Red Deer RCMP at 403-343-5575. To remain anonymous, call Crime Stoppers at 1-800-222-8477 or report it online at www.tipsubmit.com. If information leads to an arrest there could be a cash reward up to $2,000.
