A man was beaten and left in a field in Riverside Meadows and police hope some public help to find the assailant.
Red Deer RCMP and Emergency Services were called to the field, near the intersection of 54th Avenue and 60th Street at 5:30 p.m. on Friday.
The 49-year-old male victim was transported to hospital, where he was treated for facial injuries. Police said the injuries will require surgery.
However, the victim was not able to provide a complete description of the male. The male is described as having dark hair.
