Police warn public not to approach wanted man

Robert Alan Edward Clarke

RCMP are asking for assistance in locating Robert Alan Edward Clarke, who has been charged with attempted murder and other violent offences.

Clarke, 34, should be considered armed and dangerous and should not be approached. He is also facing charges related to assault, kidnapping and weapons offences.

Police say he works in the Grande Prairie area and travels between B.C., Alberta and Nova Scotia.

Anyone with information as to his whereabouts is asked to call your local police or 911 to deal with him as he could be dangerous.

He is described as a Caucasian man, 1.78 m (five foot-10) and weighing about 75 kg (166 pounds). He has brown hair, brown eyes and a tattoo on his upper right arm.
