Peter Bergman of the city’s public works department moves a new street sweeping sign on Austin Drive Tuesday. The city is using the new signs on main subdivision thoroughfares to ease manpower needs to place numerous smaller sandwich signs that motorists may not even notice. The city plans to have its roadsweeping of arterial and bus routes done by this weekend.
