North Red Deer RCMP detachment to close temporarily to the public for renovations

Renovations to the north Red Deer RCMP detachment will close the building to the public for about three weeks.

The detachment, located at 6592 58th Ave, will close to the public on Monday, May 8 to start renovations to the front counter customer service area. The renovations are expected to continue until Friday, May 26.

Throughout the renovation, the public will not be able to access the north detachment. Instead they are asked to attend the downtown detachment, 4602 51st Ave., for all police-related business.

The RCMP will continue to work out of the north detachment through the renovation.

The downtown detachment is open Monday to Friday from 8 a.m. to 6 p.m. and on Saturday from 8 a.m. to 4 p.m.
