A search by Olds RCMP has resulted in the seizure of stolen trucks and snowmobiles.
Olds RCMP officers and members of the southern Alberta auto theft unit executed a search warrant at a rural residence east of the town Friday.
This search resulted in the seizure of two stolen Ford F250 pickup trucks, a stolen Ford F350 pickup truck, two snowmobiles that had their VIN numbers altered, a printer believed to be used in fabrication of VIN numbers, and stolen property from a previously reported break and enter at an Olds business in October 2019.
Kevin Raymond Leischner, 48, of Mountain View County, was arrested and has been charged with possession of stolen property obtained by crime over $5,000 and possession of stolen property obtained by crime less than $5,000.
Leischner has been released on a $1,500 no-cash deposit to appear in Didsbury provincial court on Monday.
