Man accused of driving school bus drunk has trial date set in December
CARDSTON — A man from southern Alberta will go on trial in December on a charge of impaired driving of a school bus.
Larry Cross Child of the Blood reserve was charged with drunk driving and failing to provide a breathe sample in early June.
Blood Tribe Police arrested a man after getting a tip about a possible impaired driver in Standoff, Alta.
There were 12 children on the bus at the time of the arrest.
The children were driven to class safely in another school bus by another driver.
A trial for Cross Child is set for Dec. 11.
