RCMP allege teen threatened to shoot at St. Paul school
ST. PAUL — Mounties have charged a 17-year-old boy with allegedly threatening to shoot at a school in east-central Alberta.
RCMP say two teens were involved in a fight at a school in the St. Paul area on Monday.
Later that day, a student at the school got text messages saying someone would shoot at the school.
School staff were immediately notified and police were contacted.
At the time the threats were received, students were leaving school for the day, and no students were in danger.
A 17-year-old boy was charged with several offences, including uttering threats, and released into his parents’ custody with strict release conditions.
