Premier, cabinet swing through province before election
EDMONTON — Premier Alison Redford and her cabinet plan to meet with Albertans across the province next week.
Redford says talking to voters face to face is a way to find out what their priorities are.
She says it also gives the government a better handle on community issues.
The tour includes 25 communities stretching from Medicine Hat and Lethbridge in the south to Fort McMurray and Lac La Biche in the north.
The open meetings are to include seniors, students, health-care professionals, business groups and community leaders.
Redford has to call an election this spring under new legislation passed late last year.
