Wedding planner charged with fraud
SPRUCE GROVE — An Edmonton-area wedding planner is accused of defrauding dozens of people.
Mounties say dozens of clients paid a deposit for wedding day items, but when their big day arrived, none of the items did.
Police think at least 78 people may have been victimized.
Amy Conibear of Amour Decor is facing 73 counts of fraud.
She is due in Stony Plain provincial court on March 7.
