The QEII has been reopened after being closed due to a pole fire and downed power line this morning.
At 11:23 a.m. Alberta 511 tweeted about both southbound and northbound lanes being closed. About two hours later, Alberta 511 said the road had reopened.
Northbound lanes are fully reopened, but southbound traffic is still down to one lane.

The City of Red Deer said residents in the Fort Normandeau area, west of the highway, businesses and residents will be without power for up to six hours.
