Going the extra mile to encourage kindness, Hunting Hills High School student leadership class is hosting a Random Acts of Kindness week.

This week, students will encourage the acts throughout the school by simple polite actions including giving out compliments, holding doors, delivering treats and high fives.

“Everyone is on board,” said Jonathan Davies, leadership teacher. “Teachers are creating lessons or lesson hooks around kindness and our counselling staff will be walking the halls and encouraging positive behaviours around the school.

“The students will also have some games set up during lunches and inviting students to come play a round of ping pong or washer toss.”

Students are encouraged to post their messages, photos and stories on social media using the hashtag #ROAKHHHS
