Red Deer RCMP took two people into custody while executing a search warrant in the Normandeau neighbourhood on Monday morning.
RCMP said at about 10 a.m., there was a heavy police presence on Nash Street and that police would be on scene for several hours.
Police said were no safety concerns to the public, and an update would be provided when available.
