Shot fired at Innisfail retirement home

Innisfail’s Sunset Manor was hit by a bullet on Monday and police looking for information

Innisfail RCMP are asking for public help after a shot was fired at a local retirement home.

Police said they received a complaint on Monday about 8:45 a.m. of a shot being fired at Sunset Manor, which is located at the southwest corner of 52nd Avenue near Hwy 2.

“Investigation reveals that the shot was fired from the direction of Hwy 2,” said police.

The bullet lodged in the wall of the manor. No one was injured in the incident.
