Snowplow and car collide in Penhold

No one was seriously injured Monday morning when a highway snowplow and car collided in Penhold.

The Penhold Fire Department responded to the collision at Hwy 42 and Waskasoo Avenue at about 11 a.m.

The operator of the plow was treated at the scene and released. The occupant of the car, which was heavily damaged, was not at the scene when the fire department arrived. Hwy 42 was down to one lane for about an hour.

Innisfail RCMP are investigating.
