Stettler RCMP seek suspected fraudster

RCMP allege man used a fake driver’s licence to cash fraudulent cheque

Stettler RCMP are looking for help located a man accused of cashing a bad cheque.

Police said a man walked into Vision Credit Union in Stettler and cashed a fraudulent cheque.

It is alleged, the suspect used a fake Alberta driver’s licence as his identification at the bank. The male seen in the divers license photograph is believed to be the person captured by video surveillance cameras.

The suspect is described as Caucasian, short with a slim build. He was wearing a dark zip sweater, dark pants, beige or tan shoes and a blue and white hat.
