Members of the Rimbey and Bentley volunteer fire departments took part in weekend training on vehicle extrication. Working with air-driven tools like the Jaws of Life (seen above), participants were guided by instructor Ian McLaren, a captain with Bentley Fire Department. Participants first heard a lecture and watched films at the Rimbey Fire Hall, then went out for hands-on with training with vehicles. The training included how to safely break glass and remove roofs and doors off vehicles.
