Two Westerner Park employees were recognized at the Canadian Association of Fairs and Exhibitions conference in Halifax this past weekend.
Jim White, assistant general manager and operations manager, received the 2019 roll of honour award, and Ashley Nelson, marketing and communications assistant manager, was recognized with the future leaders award.
The roll of honour award recognizes service by an individual or organization to the Canadian fair and exhibition industry, and acknowledges leadership, vision, outstanding service and impact to the local community.
The future leaders award recognizes innovators within the fair and exposition industry who are under 30 years old.
