Farmers interested in the advantages of winter grazing can take in an upcoming seminar.
Clearwater, Lacombe and Red Deer Counties and the Grey Wooded Forage Association have joined together to present the Feb. 14 seminar at the Hespero Hall near Condor. It runs from 1 to 3:30 p.m.
The seminar will touch on topics including: production advantages and disadvantages, winter feeding options, managing feed quality, cost savings, manure management, impact on soils and self sustainability.
