Youth charged after Red Deer gas station robbery

Two other adult males also facing related charges

Red Deer RCMP have arrested and charged a third person in the robbery and attempted robbery of two gas stations in the early morning hours of June 14.

RCMP said they had identified a third suspect, a 16-year-old male, and a warrant was issued for his arrest. The suspect voluntarily turned himself into Red Deer RCMP on Saturday.

He cannot be identified in accordance with the Youth Criminal Justice Act. He has been charged with two counts of robbery with a firearm and pointing a firearm.

Two other men, both adults, also face charges related to the same incidents — an attempted armed robbery at the Fas Gas lat 5101 76th St., and an armed robbery at the Fas Gas located at 4023 50th St.
