REDEKOPP, ALBERT CAMIEL It is with great sorrow we announce the passing of our loving husband, father, grandpa, brother, uncle and friend on September 1, 2006 at the Lacombe Hospital after a long illness. Albert was born in Mission, BC on April 14, 1943 and grew up in the Bluffton / Rimbey area. He served in the Army and Navy, attended trades school receiving a career as a plumber / gas fitter, eventually becoming a trades instructor at RDC. He was active in Juvenile softball, baseball, hockey, coaching and in his younger years was a cub leader. He was forced to retire due to failing health in 1996 and spent the rest of his time with his gardening, Military badges, embroidery and hunting. Predeceased by his mother Sarah Elsie Bruynoughe and his father David Daniel Redekopp, Albert if survived by his wife Joyce, son Ken (Cindy), daughter Shelley (Norman) Calverley, his "BIG MONSTER" Phaedra Gallant, "MIDDLE MONSTER" Amanda Gallant and "LITTLE MONSTER" Lexi Redekopp, brothers George (Lea), Fred, twin brother Walter (Jane), several nieces, nephews, aunts, uncles, his "PUTTY CAT" Angel, as well as numerous friends and coffee buddies. Funeral services will be held from Wilson's Funeral Chapel Lacombe on Thursday September 7, 2006 at 2:00 p.m. Interment will follow in the Lacombe Fairview Cemetery.
