MACLEOD, Alexander Henry MacKay Alexander MacLeod passed away peacefully in the Lacombe Extended Care Centre, October 6, 2005 at the age of 90 years. He will be lovingly remembered by his wife Pearl of 34 years; his children, son Victor (Carolyn) MacLeod, of Jackson’s Point, Nova Scotia; daughters June Oke of Moncton, N.B. and Helen (Will) Patterson of Riverview, N.B. and their mother Rebecca; seven grandchildren, Heather Oke of Halifax, N.S., Fredrick Oke of Whistler, B.C., Karren (Paul) Wilkie of Charlottetown, P.E.I., Alexander (Sara) MacLeod of Halifax, N.S., Chrissie (Greg) Osowski of Vermont, U.S.A., Donald Patterson of Japan and Susan Patterson of Halifax, N.S. and seven great grandchildren; Pearl’s children, Terry (Barry) DeWindt and Robert (Gloria) Dench and families, and many friends they’ve made along the way during their retirement in Lacombe. A Celebration of Life will be held at St. Andrew’s United Church, 5226 – 51 Ave., Lacombe, AB on Wednesday, October 12, 2005 at 2:00 pm. In lieu of flowers, a memorial donation in Alex’s memory may be made to Extended Care, Lacombe Hospital and Care Centre, 5430 – 47th Ave., Lacombe, AB T4L 1G8.
