Alice ELDER

ELDER Alice Julia Melissa Elder of Red Deer, AB and Hanes, AB went to be with her Lord and Saviour on Wednesday March 5, 2008; she quietly passed away in her home at the age of 94. Alice is lovingly remembered by her son Bruce (Marilyn) Elder of Red Deer, and her daughter Nancy Smith of Red Deer. She will also be missed by her five grandchildren; Catherine Smith, Tara Elder, Charles Elder, Keri Quintal and Tracy West; as well as her thirteen great grandchildren. Alice is survived by her sister-in-law Mary Bronson and family of Surrey BC along with many other nieces, nephews and friends who will miss her dearly. Alice was predeceased by her husband, Adam "Ted" Elder as well as her two brothers, Roy and Willard Bronson. The family would like to extend a special thank you to Alice's nephew Edward (Betty) McRobbie, great grandson Tyler Lacoste as well as to Doctor Cooper for all their help and support. A Memorial Service will be held at Parkland Funeral Home and Crematorium, 6287 - 67A Street, Red Deer, AB on Tuesday, March 11, 2008 at 1:00 p.m., with the Reverend Fran Hare officiating. If friends and family member wish in lieu of flowers, memorial donations may be made to the Heart and Stroke Foundation of Alberta, #101, 5208 - 53 Avenue, Red Deer, AB T4N 5K2 and the Red Deer S.P.C.A., 4505 - 77 Street, Red Deer, AB T4P 2J1.
