HICKMAN Alice Gertrude Hickman of Innisfail, Alberta passed away on February 19, 2007. She was born May 14, 1933 at Swan River, Manitoba. Alice had her family in Bowsman, Manitoba and resided there until 1967 when she and George made the move to Alberta. They lived in Penhold, Red Deer and Delburne until they retired to Innisfail in 1994. Alice was very active with the Innisfail Drop-In Centre where she served on the board. She enjoyed all sorts of activities; cards and board games every chance she got. No one that visited could escape without indulging in a card game. Alice leaves to mourn her passing; daughters Judy (Mal), Carol (Dwayne), Gail, Linda (Steve) and her son, Murray (Crystal). She leaves also her grandchildren; Glen, Ritchie, Dwayne Jr., Chris, Raymond (Lisa), Adrian, Wayne (Patty) and Russell; great grandchildren Wendy and Vicky. Alice is also survived by her sisters Edna (Hector), Vivian (Albert) and Mary; as well as several nieces, nephews, sisters-in-law and brothers-in-law. Alice was predeceased by her husband, George in 2004, parents, Flo and Jim and her brother, Albert. A memorial service will be held at the Innisfail United Church (4720- 48th Ave. Innisfail) on Friday February 23, 2007 at 10:30 a.m. A s a memorial tribute to Alice Hickman a tree will be planted in the Tree Memorial Park (Innisfail) by: HEARTLAND FUNERAL SERVICES LTD.
